Almost 200 bags of food, as well as monetary donations, were collected last weekend for the C.A.R.E. Food Pantry.  Your generosity will be appreciated by our clients.  Thank you to parishioners, Fr. Jim, Fr. Julio, and the C.A.R.E. volunteers for your support.  The American Heritage Girls troop was a big help loading the bags into the van.  Knights of Columbus members unloaded the van at the pantry.  Thank you to all!  

For the month of March 2022, the CARE Food Pantry will receive $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable Give Back Where it Counts bag at Shaw’s store located at 1175 Main St, Clinton

The pantry is in need of plastic bags. If you have any bags you would like to donate, please leave them in the bins at the church entrances.

Yes! We are still open for those in need. All donations may be left at each entrance to St. John’s Church. The church doors remain open from 10am to 8pm each day for drop off. Our most needed items are: Toilet Paper, Mac & Cheese, canned Fruit, Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, Spaghetti & Spaghetti Sauce. Thank you for your help, your donations make it possible for us to serve the less fortunate in our community. St. John’s Gym – 149 Chestnut St - Thursdays: 4 – 6PM

Saturday, September 28th St. John’s Gym 149 Chestnut Street, Clinton Doors open at 5:30, serving pizza. Games start at 6:00. Come for a fun family evening and support the St John’s CARE Food Pantry. Tickets are $10 to play. There will be a Chinese auction to win many gift certificates and prizes and a raffle to win theme baskets.

The CARE Food pantry is having its 3rd Annual Chicken Shoot Meat Bingo fund raiser on Saturday, September 29 at its new location at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 209 Union St. In addition to the bingo games there will be raffles including Patriots tickets and theme gift baskets. Tickets will be sold after all Masses the weekends of September 8th/9th, 15th/16th and 22nd /23rd. Come join the fun and support the food pantry.
