Almost 200 bags of food, as well as monetary donations, were collected last weekend for the C.A.R.E. Food Pantry. Your generosity will be appreciated by our clients. Thank you to parishioners, Fr. Jim, Fr. Julio, and the C.A.R.E. volunteers for your support. The American Heritage Girls troop was a big help loading the bags into the van. Knights of Columbus members unloaded the van at the pantry. Thank you to all!
Thank you to all St John's parishioners for your support of the Mother's Day Rose Sale! Because of your generosity $2,055 was raised for First Concern Pregnancy Resource Center. St. John the Guardian of Our Lady will again be offering Level I Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for pre-school children ages 3, 4, 5 on Sunday mornings from 10-11 AM beginning on October 3. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a religious education program that helps children develop a deep and personal relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd and a love for Scripture, Liturgy and the Sacraments. Yes! We are still open for those in need. All donations may be left at each entrance to St. John’s Church. The church doors remain open from 10am to 8pm each day for drop off. Our most needed items are: Toilet Paper, Mac & Cheese, canned Fruit, Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, Spaghetti & Spaghetti Sauce.
