Volunteers are needed to help at St. John’s CARE Food Pantry on Thursdays from 4-6pm. For more information call Mary Eley at 508-873-8344.

Almost 200 bags of food, as well as monetary donations, were collected last weekend for the C.A.R.E. Food Pantry.  Your generosity will be appreciated by our clients.  Thank you to parishioners, Fr. Jim, Fr. Julio, and the C.A.R.E. volunteers for your support.  The American Heritage Girls troop was a big help loading the bags into the van.  Knights of Columbus members unloaded the van at the pantry.  Thank you to all!  

Thank you to all St John's parishioners for your support of the Mother's Day Rose Sale! Because of your generosity $2,055 was raised for First Concern Pregnancy Resource Center. The Hibernians of Our Lady of Knock in cooperation with the Knights of Columbus wish to thank the parishioners of St. John’s for their generous support of the Mother’s Day Rose Sale and fundraiser to purchase an Ultrasound Machine for First Concern. $3,565 was raised.

For the month of March 2022, the CARE Food Pantry will receive $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable Give Back Where it Counts bag at Shaw’s store located at 1175 Main St, Clinton

If you are interested in learning about Catechesis of the Good, please join us for an interactive, Day of Discovery about how we can help our littlest ones ages 3, 4, 5 grow closer in their relationship with Jesus through Scripture, Liturgy and the Sacraments. Clinton Council #1701 of the Knights of Columbus will be colleting coats for our annual “Coats for Kids” program. New or gently used coats are requested. Collection will be Saturdays on October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. John’s Gym. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Distribution will be on Saturday, November 6.

Please prayerfully consider joining us in this wonderful ministry by sharing your time and talent. People of faith are needed to share this faith with our youngsters and facilitate their learning of God and prayer. Catechists are needed for the following times: Sundays 8-8:45 AM or 10-11 AM.

St. John the Guardian of Our Lady will again be offering Level I Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for pre-school children ages 3, 4, 5 on Sunday mornings from 10-11 AM beginning on October 3. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a religious education program that helps children develop a deep and personal relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd and a love for Scripture, Liturgy and the Sacraments. The pantry is in need of plastic bags. If you have any bags you would like to donate, please leave them in the bins at the church entrances.

Yes! We are still open for those in need. All donations may be left at each entrance to St. John’s Church. The church doors remain open from 10am to 8pm each day for drop off. Our most needed items are: Toilet Paper, Mac & Cheese, canned Fruit, Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, Spaghetti & Spaghetti Sauce. The Diocese of Worcester has decided to reschedule the Confirmation Ceremony that was to take place at St. John's Church on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. No new date has been set. As soon as we have more information, we will let families know. Any questions or concerns, please call: 978-368-0052.
