Clinton Council #1701 of the Knights of Columbus will be collecting coats for our annual “Coats for Kids” program. New or gently used coats are requested. Collection will be Saturdays on October 10, 17, 24 & 31 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. John’s Gym. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Distribution will be on Saturday, November 7.
Yes! We are still open for those in need. All donations may be left at each entrance to St. John’s Church. The church doors remain open from 10am to 8pm each day for drop off. Our most needed items are: Toilet Paper, Mac & Cheese, canned Fruit, Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, Spaghetti & Spaghetti Sauce. The Diocese of Worcester has decided to reschedule the Confirmation Ceremony that was to take place at St. John's Church on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. No new date has been set. As soon as we have more information, we will let families know. Any questions or concerns, please call: 978-368-0052.

All parishioners of high school age (including those who will be entering as freshmen in September 2020) are invited to attend the 2020 Steubenville East Catholic Youth Conference, to be held at the University of Rhode Island the weekend of July 10-12, 2020. Join our group from St. John’s for a fun, faith-filled weekend of inspiring speakers, engaging liturgies, adoration, wonderful music and fellowship with thousands of other Catholic teens. This year’s theme is “Restored”. Students who have attended in the past have described it as “amazing” and “life changing”. We will stay in the college dormitories and dine in the campus cafeterias. Reservations are being taken now, and need to be received by March 31. Thank you so much to all our 8th level students who participated in our 'Fill That Truck' campaign at St. John's. We were able to fill that truck with at least 70 bags of food items that will go to benefit families in need. A special thank you to our 8th level catechists, Janice Donahue, Diane Melanson, and Carol O'Malley for their help in this project as well! Thank you too all those who donated food items to this very special event!
The St. Vincent de Paul Society extends its gratitude to the all who donated food to our annual Thanksgiving Basket drive, because of your generosity, we were able to distribute 50 boxes of food to individuals and families in need.

RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. RCIA classes are for those who want to become Catholic and to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation. It is also for those adults who are Catholic and are baptized, but who may not have received Holy Communion or Confirmation. This program will take place on Sunday afternoons from 3 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Rectory beginning October 13. Those adults interested in receiving the sacraments please contact Fr. The next monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall. The guest speaker will be John Mollica. Save the Date: The annual Christmas Party will be held on Thursday, December 5.
First Day of CCD Classes The first class for Levels K, 1, and 2 will be on 9/14 The first classes for Levels 3 - 10 Sundays will be on 9/15 The first classes for Levels 3 - 5 Mondays will be 9/16 The first classes for Levels 6 - 8 Tuesdays will be 9/17. Cost is $35 per child, max $100 per family.
Saturday, September 28th St. John’s Gym 149 Chestnut Street, Clinton Doors open at 5:30, serving pizza. Games start at 6:00. Come for a fun family evening and support the St John’s CARE Food Pantry. Tickets are $10 to play. There will be a Chinese auction to win many gift certificates and prizes and a raffle to win theme baskets.
Dear Families, Our annual 9th level retreat is coming up on Sunday, October 20th, at Immaculate Conception, from 3pm to 7pm. Parents, please drop off your child at 2:45pm at Immaculate Conception Parish located at 809 Main Street, Lancaster MA. Pizza will be served along with other light refreshments. Pick up is at 7pm. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul and those we serve wish to thank all who contributed to the Ash Wednesday Collection. The total collection was $2,455. Your generosity is overwhelming, and enables us to continue our mission of helping those less fortunate in our community. Thank you!
Thank you to all the parishioners for your support of the Mother's Day Rose Sale. Because of your generosity we were able to raise $1,175 for Problem Pregnancy, the all-volunteer Agency that supports women during their pregnancy.
