Schola/Music

The Schola/Music programs are currently being directed by Marc DeMille.

The St. John's Schola seeks to enhance the Divine Liturgy by drawing on the Church's vast store of musical treasures, with a particular focus on Chant, Renaissance Polyphony and traditional Hymnody.  Singing at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on the first, third and fifth (if applicable) Sundays of each month, the group rehearses in the choir loft on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. and meets thirty minutes prior to Mass.  New members are always welcome.  Please contact Marc DeMille at 978-368-0366 x213 for more information.

Please join us on Gaudete Sunday, December 17th at 5pm for the next installment of our Sacred Music Series, as we welcome back one of the country's most gifted Catholic musicians, David Hughes.  Joined by our music director, Marc DeMille, he will present a program of hymns, chants and organ music for the Advent Season.  As always, admission is free and families are welcome.  Donations will be accepted at the door.  Come and rejoice that Christmas is near!
